Virtual Presentation!
Join us this Sunday, April 21, for a virtual presentation by Dolly Klock, M.D. from Adolessons! Dolly is sought after by schools and parents alike for her discussions about how to talk to your kids about the tricky things that we want to avoid, but really shouldn't.
In this event, hosted by our sister chapter MAEVE West Adams, she'll be joining us to take a deep dive on how to start important, protective, and FUN conversations with your child(ren) about body parts, nudity, co-bathing, privacy, puberty, sex, and SO. MUCH. MORE.

2024 Community Book Swap
Our 2024 book swap event was a huge success! Thank you to all who attended and/or donated books. Service and community projects are a core part of what we do + being a tribe to our awesome group of mamas.

Adopt-a-Family Holiday Project with Safe Harbor
Thanks to the generosity of our members we were able to support several families at Safe Harbor, the local domestic violence shelter for the holidays. We filled the families’ wish-lists and delivered the wrapped gifts to Safe Harbor. A huge THANK YOU to our members for their support!

Friendsgiving!
We hosted a Friendsgiving dinner for members and their families.

Trunk-or-Treat
We participated in a Trunk-or-Treat at one of our local elementary schools. So fun seeing all the costumes and getting the word out about MAEVE Northern Calvert!

Fall school supply drive for Safe Harbor
For our fall service project we bought and filled seven backpacks with school supplies for the families at Safe Harbor, Calvert County’s domestic violence shelter.

End of Year Party
We celebrated the end of 2022-2023 with good food and good company at JesseJay’s Latin Inspired Kitchen

MAEVE Northern Calvert Egg Hunt
We held an Easter Egg Hunt for our members. It was SO much fun!

"Share the Love" service project
MAEVE Northern Calvert “Shared the Love” with Project ECHO Homeless Shelter, Calvert County's local homeless shelter. Our members donated shampoo, conditioner, face cream, menstrual products, lotion, and more and our kiddos decorated homemade valentines to brighten the residents' spirits!

Project Echo Supply Drive
In support of the residents of Project Echo, MAEVE Northern Calvert conducted a supply drive to donate women’s care items including razors, pads, tampons, baby wipes, lotion and deodorant.

Strawberry picking
We organize activities to local spots like this field trip to Swann Farms for strawberry picking.

Mom's Night Out
We schedule monthly Mom’s Night Out. It is wonderful to have dinner with old and new friends.

Playdate meetups
We host regular member meetups/playdates at fun places like Imaginarium and Annemarie Gardens.

Preschool Playgroup at Alpaca Lane Criations farm
Our preschool playgroup and their siblings met at the Alpaca farm to learn about and feed the alpacas.
